Managing public links

Public links are useful for temporary exposure outside your user group.

Create a public link

1. Open item actions.

2. Toggle public link access.

3. Copy the generated URL.

Link controls

• Enable/disable link access quickly.
• Regenerate a link to invalidate the old URL.
• Share links only where the audience is intended.

Safe link handling

• Do not post links in public channels unintentionally.
• Disable link after external access is no longer needed.
• Remember link access affects everyone with the URL.

Audit mindset

Treat public link inventory like credentials: review weekly for stale items.
